Venue Spotlight: Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow

Our Venue Spotlight this week is Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow, a favourite of Account Manager, Marlene Scott. This venue has been her second home for this year and has worked very closely with the team.

Venue Location

Located moments from Heathrow Airport, the hotel is also conveniently connected to London and beyond via the M4, M25 and M40 motorways. Aside from the more obvious benefit for leisure and business travellers flying to and from Heathrow, the hotel is also perfect for a family day out at Windsor Castle or Legoland, located just 10 miles from the hotel. For sports fans, Royal Ascot racecourse, Twickenham International Rugby and the Royal Wentworth Golf Course are all within 20 miles of the hotel.

Venue Amenities

Radisson Blu Edwardian has 464 bedrooms and suites designed to accommodate a complete sense of rest and comfort. As one of Europe’s largest conference centres, this is the perfect venue for any event – from exhibitions, seminars and training, to press conferences, parties and weddings. High ceilings, unparalleled sources of natural light and water features characterise their two unique atriums, whilst the 42 meeting and events rooms are perfect for small and large meetings and are locally unrivalled in providing more than one space with capacities over 500 people. Market-leading audio visual technology and on-site technicians allow for full transformations to fulfil any requirements and needs.

The hotel was crowned third best hotel in the UK for meetings and events in 2019 by CVENT, following the award as ‘Most Versatile London Venue’ at The London Venue Awards 2018.

Why Marlene Loves This Venue

It started when I recommended this venue to a client for their senior leader event, most of our clients love getting our recommendations. I was blown away by how hands on the General Manager, Michael Cheung was! His knowledge of the hotel was second to none let alone about the group!

Our client had previously used a different Radisson hotel for a summer event but decided to change up the venue. We went on a site-visit with the client, who was also blown away by the hotel and Michael, the staff were visual and available! We took the CEO on a visit as well as the Communications team who also fell in love with the venue.

Needless to say, the smoothing running of the event was a huge success followed by the actual event, which took place a few months ago. They have over 40 meetings rooms and are so flexible to work with, they made the event a breeze!
