Wheels Down in Dubai
We arrived in Dubai and went straight to The Ritz Carlton Al Wadi Desert. This hotel is around 50 minutes from Dubai in Ras Al Khaimah. We took part in a tour of the fantastic accommodation available (a total of 100-bedroom suites each with its own pools!). The hotel’s meeting space includes a dedicated conference centre and restaurant spaces.
The day continued with lunch at Kaheela restaurant, followed by an onsite rain forest Spa experience. We then went on to a thrilling off-road Polaris dune buggy wildlife tour spotting wild camels, Oryx, and gazelles. We finally finished the busy afternoon with a Falconry show. In the evening, we had dinner under the stars in true Emirate fashion with local cuisine and belly dancing entertainment.
Luxurious Day Exploring the City
We left the Al Wadi desert in style by helicopter and headed to the Dubai Autodrome. This is where they experienced a single-seated racing car experience! Next, we headed on to Aura Sky Pool bar with stunning views over the palm, followed by lunch at Sushi Samba Dubai. Sounds like a luxurious afternoon!
We checked into the luxury Mandarin Oriental and had time for a quick swim in the sea before pre-dinner drinks, and a quick tour of the suites. We then dined at the Michelin-star onsite restaurant Tasca.
Learning About Dubai’s Culture
The final day began with us visiting the Museum of the Future. Everyone said it was an intriguing venue with the most fantastic event space on the top floor that hosts over 300 guests for a seated dinner. In contrast to the museum, we visited Dubai’s Old Town and the Gold & Spice Souks. After a short boat transfer across the Dubai creek, we went to visit the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. There, we enjoyed a traditional Emirate lunch with a Q&A session with a local Emirate. To finish the afternoon, we were entertained on a private yacht around the Dubai marina with the chance to go for a quick dip!
To end the trip, we went to the Burj Khalifa area for dinner and dined at the award-winning restaurant Cé La Vi. It has the most stunning views of the fountains and skyline of the Burj Khalifa.
The trip was hosted by All About Flights, DMC Advantage, Ritz Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Wadi Desert, Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Dubai, and Pure Arabia DMC.
