This week Rachel has chosen The Vox Conference Centre, to be our Venue of The Week! Situated in the heart of Birmingham, The Vox is easily accessible with a train station onsite, an air-rail link to Birmingham airport and easy access onto motorways including the M42, M40 and M6. The Vox is located within Resorts World, surrounded by many hotels, bars, and restaurants – all within a 5 to 10-minute walk. The Vox offers flexible purpose-built spaces with five suites that can accommodate up to 900 delegates in a wide number of formats.  The venue also has three executive boardrooms with maximum capacities of 16, 20 or 28 people. Despite being smaller than their suites, the boardrooms remain super-powered with excellent audio-visual equipment, lighting, and hospitality options available. For example, The Vox can cater themed banquets for up to 850 guests.

The Vox have award-winning skyfold walls, allowing them to transform their spaces in minutes. In addition to these wonderful features, they have a spacious foyer overlooking Pendigo Lake. The foyer is a popular space to have lunch and drink receptions. Furthermore, it features several large screens that can be used for promotional and sponsorship purposes or to broadcast live sessions to an extended audience.

The Vox have an award-winning in-house catering partner, Amadeus. They ensure food is locally sourced, with 80% of their food and beverage suppliers found within a 30-mile radius. Their strong sustainability credentials, is just one of the many reasons they’ve won over 650 industry awards.  They produce exceptional food and are always willing to explore new ideas with their award-winning catering team led by Head Chef Aaron Johnson.
