We have launched our 2023 employee development programme, known as Emerging Talent First launched in October 2020, the annual Emerging Talent programme takes up to six of our employees through a dedicated training, education, and mentoring programme covering every area of running the business.
The talent programme is aimed at boosting our employees’ future career paths through the event and venue-finding industry, by instilling cross-departmental skills, knowledge, and motivation.
Kira Clinton has recently been promoted to Event Manager following the success of 2022 Emerging Talent programme. Speaking about her experiences, she said: “It exceeded expectations, and was eye-opening to see other sides of the business and to see how other departments operate. I now better appreciate how all roles connect in some way. I began to understand that my role as an Event Executive influences finance, but also a domino effect on all departments. I’m now clear on how much different department teams can help each other to improve processes for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, and how vital it is that everyone works ‘together’ – which is one of our main values.”
The Emerging Talent Programme is now entering its third year, and sees its highest uptake of applicants to date.
