Emma Tills, Account Manager, recently travelled to Singapore for a FAM trip. She had the most amazing time in the country and shares this with us. Take it away, Emma!

Arriving in Singapore
After we arrived at the airport, we were whisked away to PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay where we were staying for the first part of the trip to get settled in. The hotel is home to 583 rooms and Southeast Asia’s largest indoor sky-lit atrium complete with over 2,400 plants.
Haji Lane and Gardens by the Bay
The next day, we had a quick site inspection of our hotel before heading to a walking tour at Haji Lane. Haji Lane is a popular narrow street in the Kampong Glam neighbourhood, brimming with cool boutique shops, quirky cafes, and colourful murals. Then, we had a site inspection of Pan Pacific Singapore where we had a peek around the hotel and a session with a mixologist. We ended the evening with drinks and a fantastic light show at Gardens by the Bay.
Site Visits
During some free time the next day, myself and a couple of others took ourselves off to Marina Bay Sands Hotel. We went up to the top observatory to get an unbeatable view of the city. We checked into a new hotel, Pan Pacific Orchard. This hotel was so interesting, it combined four stacks, all with a different theme – Forest, Beach, Garden, and Cloud. Their meeting spaces are found on the 18th floor, offering spaces that accommodate from 15 to 670 guests, including their outdoor Cloud Terrace Lawn. Later that day, we enjoyed sunset drinks at Club Lounge.
China Town, Clarke Quay, and Joo Chiat
Day three began with an exciting walking tour of China Town including inside a Hindu temple. We then had a historic Bumboat trip to Clarke Quay before being transferred to Joo Chiat to enjoy a side car ride of the local area. To finish off our exciting day, we had a quiet dinner then went back to the hotel.
Final Day at Garden by the Bay
First thing on the fourth day, we departed to the Garden by the Bay to view the Domes (Cloud Forest & Flower Dome) which are like the Eden Project – it was stunning! We then went straight on to a site inspection at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, an eco-friendly garden concept hotel in the heart of Chinatown. The hotel’s city view boardrooms, equipped with seamless AV technology, can accommodate up to 30 people.
Then a few of us also nipped up to Raffles to have a Singapore Sling and chuck Monkey Nuts on the floor before it was time to head back! We were then transferred back to our hotel to check out and travel to the airport.
Looking back at Singapore
Reflecting on the trip, I just keep thinking wow! What an experience!! Singapore has kept a part of my heart!!
