Our venue spotlight takes us to a fantastic event venue in Leicestershire, Mythe Barn.
Setting the Scene
Set in 150 acres of farmland on the borders of Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Leicestershire, Mythe Barn looks out over rolling hills and meadows to the River Sence. With sheep grazing as you drive from the road into the farm, this is a rural, fairy-tale setting and one of the finest event venues in Leicestershire.
Event Facilities
The venue is perfect if you are looking to inspire at your next conference, team away day or automotive event. With exclusive use of over 1,500m² of flexible, creative space you can be certain of privacy in the inspiring and idyllic setting. The venue has six event spaces that can host up to 200 people. Both the Grain Store and Oak Barn are flooded with daylight, feature outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and are both vehicle accessible. The fully stocked bar adds to the possibilities for special evening events.
Mythe Barn has an abundance of outdoor space prefect for events such as team building sessions, mini summer festivals, and drinks receptions. At your outdoor summer party, offer guests freshly cooked BBQ dishes and pizza, made in Mythe Barn’s outdoor BBQ and pizza oven area. There is also an offroad driving track and valeting area, perfect for an automotive product launch or display.
There is plenty of onsite parking for guests travelling by car along with electric vehicle chargers onsite.
Sustainability
In 2015, the venue completed work on installing 12kw solar PV system. The 500 solar panels produce more electricity than is needed at Mythe Barn, resulting in the surplus green energy being fed back into the grid.
In 2023, Mythe Barn was awarded Gold ECOsmart accreditation by events and hospitality sustainability specialists Greengage Solutions, for proving a comprehensive approach to environmental sustainability.
