Throughout the years, 116 Pall Mall has welcomed hugely successful people such as James Bond creator Ian Fleming, Sir Paul McCartney, the makers of The Dark Knight and the King of Norway to name but a few, adding a touch of extra sparkle to this already prestigious venue.
Event Spaces
116 Pall Mall offers excellent transport links, a cloakroom, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and natural daylight in every room. Glancing at some the event spaces available, there is firstly, The Nash. Named in honour of the architect John Nash, who designed 116 Pall Mall in the 1820s, is their most popular choice for larger gatherings. This 3,000 sq. ft space comfortably welcomes 350 standing guests and 250 dining at round tables. It can also be arranged with sets and stages to suit any presentation or performance. Next, there is The Waterloo which adjoins The Nash. It can also be used as a standalone conference room with stage and sets, or as a breakout room. It seats 120 guests in theatre style and 160 at a drink’s reception.
St James 1&2 are a pair of regal rooms with grand sash windows overlooking Pall Mall and is ideal for intimate events. Similarly, Trafalgar 1&2 are adjoining rooms full of original features and charm, offering natural light and an airy ambience. Finally, The Burton is a classic Georgian room and one their most sought after for daytime events. It combines perfectly with Trafalgar 1 & 2 as breakout or catering rooms. There are many other marvellous event spaces to explore at this venue, which can you read about here.
The Champagne Bar
Behind the stunning façade of this Grade-I listed building, find The Champagne Bar, which has been reinvented by Searcy’s. Offering an array of fizz, including one of the largest selections of magnums in London, alongside creative cocktails, British bar bites and a roster of events. Once the wine cellars of the Prince of Wales and the United Service Club, the space is now one of the most stunning champagne bars in London. The Champagne Bar can also be hired for an event or gathering.
Why Esther Loves This Venue
“The Champagne bar is my favourite. It’s located underground behind stunning iron gates that served as the original cellar doors. There is also a Grand Staircase and Gallery, which is one of the most iconic features and can be used for reception areas. The hotel is completely full of history and each room has its unique character.”
